अध्याय 8 — अक्षर ब्रह्म योग

वेदेषु यज्ञेषु तपःसु चैव
दानेषु यत्पुण्यफलं प्रदिष्टम्।
अत्येति तत्सर्वमिदं विदित्वा
योगी परं स्थानमुपैति चाद्यम्।।

vedeṣu yajñeṣu tapaḥsu caiva
dāneṣu yat puṇya-phalaṁ pradiṣṭam |
atyeti tat sarvam idaṁ viditvā
yogī paraṁ sthānam upaiti cādyam ||

वेदों, यज्ञों, तप और दान से मिलने वाले सभी पुण्य फलों को यह योगी पार कर परम स्थान को प्राप्त करता है।

Knowing this, the yogi transcends all merit from Vedas, sacrifices, austerities and charity, and attains the supreme state.
