अध्याय 8 — अक्षर ब्रह्म योग

अधिभूतं क्षरो भावः पुरुषश्चाधिदैवतम्।
अधियज्ञोऽहमेवात्र देहे देहभृतां वर।।

adhiyajño'ham evātra dehe deha-bhṛtāṁ vara ||

क्षर भाव अधिभूत है; पुरुष अधिदैव है; और अधियज्ञ मैं स्वयं हूँ — हे अर्जुन!
